I bought a couple pairs at Once Upon a Child yesterday because I realized that they would be MUCH more convenient than tights when it's cold out...and we are going to Italy at the end of January, when it'll be super cold!
Marthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08714449213406057138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263642629706813925.post-12000225073272976872012-10-07T08:37:06.856-04:002012-10-07T08:37:06.856-04:00I'm so sorry about your dog. I love those things!! They aren't as useful in FL, but they are still useful. When you hold a baby (either in arms or a sling) who is wearing pants/socks, the pant legs typically ride up exposing a strip of skin. In colder climates outside, this can be a problem..so babylegs take care of that and protect that exposed skin where pant legs tend to ride up. It's really more of a necessity in Northern climates. Although, I use mine here in FL with my newborn. They are the perfect length to cover her entire legs, so they are easy to slip on if we are going from the warm outside (where she is dressed in light clothes) to someplace inside with cooler a/c. They make great "tights" for under dresses or other outfits if the a/c is set really cool and help keep socks on. I've never actually used them to protect their legs while crawling...just for warmth.
Amelia Bentruphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04289052534608175705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7263642629706813925.post-10198938221217785272012-10-06T23:23:26.281-04:002012-10-06T23:23:26.281-04:00He is not JUST a dog... he is part of your family....He is not JUST a dog... he is part of your family. They never did figure out what it was but she pulled through after 3 days and went totally back to normal. Any more than that and I would have had to make the same decision because of her age and $. I can't even imagine. Bless baby Blackacre and I hope the treatment works!!!! Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05625035254559197934noreply@blogger.com
